Jessica
Nakibuule
Jessica Nakibuule is a native of Uganda and
after her dad’s death when she was very young,
she was raised by her widowed mother along with
her three sisters and one brother. Her mother eventually
remarried, but Jessica’s new stepfather was
Muslim. Her mother died several years ago and Jessica
continued to be cared for by her stepfather, but
he passed away in 2004.
Jessica gave her life to Jesus in 2002 while
watching Benny Hinn’s healing ministry and
has been following the call on her life ever since.
She has a strong anointing for healing and for
worship, as well as compassion for the fatherless.
At her home church (Streams of Life) in Kampala,
Uganda, Jessica has served in children’s ministry
and as a worship leader. Through her work with
the children she became aware of their needs and
the needs of some single parents. Her heart was
moved to support as many as she could, and at present
she helps meet the physical and spiritual needs
of ten orphans.
The anointing is so strong during some of her
worship sessions, that people in the congregation
are spontaneously healed of tumors and other infirmities!
She also teaches worship principles and methods
at a secondary school, with the goal of helping
raise a generation of passionate worshipers.
As an administrative assistant to her pastor,
Gerald Mwebe (who is also Fresh Fire Ministries
African Coordinator), Jessica has had opportunity
to pray for many people who call the FFM office
with a variety of prayer needs. Many times she
has received testimonies of answered prayer from
families whose lives have been radically changed!
Once Jessica had a dream that God was sending
her into the marketplace to lay hands on the sick.
In the dream they were getting healed, with the
lame walking and the dead being raised! Her strong
call to healing ministry was noticed by Steve Trullinger
during his crusade ministry visit to Kampala in
2005 and with her pastor’s blessing, she was
publicly ordained and commissioned as a healing
minister on the last night of the crusade. The
reports of healings in her ministry began to come
quickly, with tumors disappearing, demonic oppression
loosed, tuberculosis healed, etc.
Now Jessica is preparing for her launch into
full-time healing evangelism and worship and will
be accompanying FTM on mission trips to other regions
of Africa and eventually to other continents as
the Lord raises up other passionate ministers to
partner with her.
